The DÖRIG company in Urnäsch (AR) was acquired in August 2008 by MIFROMA.
Specialising for over sixty-five years in the ripening and sale of Appenzeller cheese, as well as a range of specialities, this company brings additional potential to the ELSA-MIFROMA group and an increased presence among our customers in eastern Switzerland.

| 1964 | The first cheese cellar is built, capable of holding 4,500 wheels. |
| 1982 | The sons of Emil Dörig, Leo and Urs took over the management of the firm. |
